Line Stroke Types & Rulers?

Recommended Posts

Hello, I'm a brand new user/owner of both Designer and Photo and for both my iPad Pro and MacBook Air M1... coming to this software after a lot of experience with PhotoShop and Illustrator.

I've been searching for both line types and rulers and haven't found the info I need.  How can I turn on rulers on my Designer page?  How can I change the line stroke of lines and objects?  I need dashed and dotted lines in my design and just don't see how to get them after almost an hour searching.  And I really want to see rulers on my page.

Thanks for any help.

Okay, found the line stroke dialog.  I really hadn't expected it to be hiding on the right panel... I was looking at the Edit options, the tools on the left plus the context tool at the bottom.  Are rulers also hidden that way?  :)

Thanks for the reply.  It's a shame that something I feel is so basic like rulers isn't available on the iPad.  Oh well.

And yes, I'm completely new to Designer (and Photo) on both the iPad and MacBook Air.  I've been using Photoshop and Illustrator on the PC.

I'll check out the link you suggested.  Thanks.
