Jip Asveld
Hello, I am new to affinity designer and I am just creating my first document. I want to align different layers of text, however, the selection around it gets aligned differently because of the different sizes of characters. (see the images below: the F in the second image is in a similar position within the grid, but the selection around it gets pushed to the top and left.) How can I make sure the selection around the text takes into consideration gets the same, instead of that it depends on the characters I typed. I tried googling this, but I cannot find a solution. I am probably also not using the right keywords, but thats because I am not to affinity; I do not know how to properly name this issue (therefore I hope my question is clear..). Thanks already, Jip
RNKLN
Hi Jim, What you could do to solve this is setup a system with equidistance horizontal guides. Go to View - Guides Manager… to do this. user1984
I think you have used "artistic text" in the first case and "frame text" in the second case. Use "frame text" for all textframes and all will be fine I think. Jip Asveld 1 Quote -- Regards Torsten
