Page numbering with multi layouts

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am struggling to achieve correct page numbering for a document that has both portrait and landscape page spreads within it. The master portrait page number goes off the landscape page. If I add a 2nd master in landscape and insert → field → page number i get  2.# which results in page numbers displayed as page 1 ...page 2... page 2.3... page 4. etc.

I simply want to continue page numbering throughout the document where I have mixed portrait and landscape pages. I am sure it is user error - can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Thanks

Problem found.

I had multiple sections assigned, and therefore the page numbering restarted at page 1 on each section. Deleting the unwanted sections in the section manager solved the problem.

You can choose to continue the section numbering instead of restarting it.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.5.5 | Affinity Photo 2.5.5 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.5 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
