Affinity Designer Setup Failed

I downloaded Affinity Designer 1.9 upgrade yesterday. during upgrade was present with Setup failure meaassage  'insufficient privileges to access this directory' attachment 1. Was then denied access to the folder, ref attachment 2 and now can no longer run Affinity designer.

Any assistance you can provide would be appreciated.

Hello and welcome!

With what privileges (from a User or Administrator account) did you tried to setup/install the software update? - The shown message somehow suggerates you had just user privileges when trying to install the software, did you tried as Administrator too in order to have full system write access?

Welcome to the forums!

I'm very sorry to see you're having trouble installing the update and my apologies for the delayed response here.

As v_kyr has mentioned, you need to be initiating the .exe installer with Administrator privileges for the application to install the update.

Please right-click the downloaded .exe, then select Run as Administrator. This should hopefully install the update for you as expected. Please do let me know if this helps :)
