I have an Affinity Photo document with 5 pictures in it. I want to find out the DPI for each picture. If I go to Resize Document, I can only resize the entire thing.

Where to I go to see the DPI of each individual photo?

Select the Move Tool, click the image/pixel layer to select it then look at the top left of the app's interface in the context toolbar - it should display the name of the layer along with the dpi. It's it's an Image layer type (that is a placed image - see the label between parenthesis after the layer's name in the Layers panel) it displays the pixel dimensions along with the dpi. If it's a regular pixel layer type it displays the dpi only. You can check the pixel layer dimensions in the Transform panel (with the Move Tool layer and pixel layer selected).

[Edited] typo (transfer).

Hello, I can't find this transfer panel, can you indicate me where it is ?

Actually I used to have the dpi displayed at the top left of my app as you're saying, but since a few weeks/months, it disappeared and I can't find it again (I don't know if I moved it without paying attention or if it was due to an update). Therefore I can't check anymore the quality of the pictures when I change their size. (I have Affinity Publisher, Designer & Photo). Thank you!

I think the “Transfer panel” mentioned is supposed to be the Transform Panel, but that doesn’t tell you the DPI of the document.
You can get the Transform Panel by using menu “View → Studio → Transform”, making sure that the option is checked (ticked).
If you still can’t see it then look for an open panel which is called something like Xfm (shortened version of Transform)

If you cannot see the DPI value when you have the Move Tool selected then you could have lost the Context Toolbar
Use menu “View → Show Context Toolbar” to get it back if that menu option is not checked (ticked).

Sorry, I should have mentioned that you need to have a Pixel/Image layer selected to see the DPI of that layer.
Shapes, curves and various other things don’t have an associated DPI because they are DPI/scale-independent.

To see the DPI of the document, as a whole, you can use menu “Document → Resize Document”.

Alternatively, you can select the View Tool but that will only get you the document dimensions and not the DPI.
