Staff MEB Posted September 20, 2015 Staff Posted September 20, 2015 Hi Geminitiger, Have you tried the Inpainting Brush? Check this video tutorial to see how to use it. It's intended to remove elements from images automatically. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
Geminitiger Posted September 20, 2015 Author Posted September 20, 2015 Hi Meb.just spotted that and its worked brilliant thanks. just for the record how do the 2 brushes differ i.e. the erase brush and the inpainting brush? thanks this program is brill. Quote
Staff MEB Posted September 20, 2015 Staff Posted September 20, 2015 The Erase Brush Tool deletes the pixels from the layer, leaving the area transparent (unless you have other layers behind). The Inpainting Brush Tool rebuilds the brushed area from the information/data it takes from the surrounded area. So it never deletes pixels. It just replaces them.
