jmwellborn Posted January 25, 2021 Posted January 25, 2021 Welcome to the Forums @aytiworks 😊 Each app -- Photo, Designer, or Publisher -- requires a one time payment for any version in the 1.+ series for whichever operating system you wish - Mac or PC. Any files generated by these apps can be opened with either Mac or Windows. We are now in the version 1.8* series for each app with a release update version 1.9 coming soon. There could possibly be update versions 1.10, 1.11 etc. Each update in the 1.+ series is downloadable without additional charge. When Serif does issue Version 2 of each app (which could be some time in the future) they will be brand new products rather than updates, and we will be required to purchase any or all of them if we wish. But we would still be able to use our versions in the 1.+ series if we do not wish for the capabilities that the new apps will contain.
