Huaker0o0
Sorry to interrupt, but my .afdesign files in Files app all greyed out and AD can't open them. I tried to open them in AD and failed too. I also tried to create shortcut and it didn't work as well. Uninstalling and intalling again also didn't help. My device is iPad air 3, running iPadOS 14.0.1, and AD is updated to the latest version.
DM1
Files that were created in a beta version will not open in the release version. where are your files stored. If iCloud make sure they are closed on any other device that has opened them. Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). Huaker0o0
Thanks for your reply, my files are all stored on my iPad, not iCloud. I tried to create a new file with AD 1.8.6, which is the latest version, and saved it to my iPad. AD failed to open the file created by itself in Files app, the file still looked grey. But openning it in AD's gallery was okay. I moved the file to an iPad pro 2018, and it can be opened on the new device via Files app.
Huaker0o0
Problem solved, in a way. I just uninstalled Affinity Photo on my iPad, and it worked. Seems that the file association was affected. I don't need Photo recently on my program, so I will download it again later. Hopefully you will remove this bug in the future. Thanks.
