Choose Layer/Selection Colour

Recommended Posts

when a layer is selected, the hilight on the artboard is always blue ..in AI or ID this highlight can be assigned (I like Grass Green or Gold)

this helps me organise eg: base on charcoal; text on lavender; pics on purple; graphics on violet..

begining to really get to grips with AffDesigner ..so smooth ..well done!

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

  1. For objects, you can right-click on the object in the Layers panel, and at the bottom of the context menu you can select a tag color. This will apply to the right end of the layer in the panel, where the visitility checkbox is.
  2. For a (Layer) layer, you can right-click and then either choose a tag (as above) or click Properties, and specify a different color that will apply a gradient along the bottom edge of the layer in the panel.
