Bruno Henrique Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 It's not exactly a bug but a software translation error of the haze removal tool in Pt-br it's like remoção de distorção (removing distortions) and it would be something like (fog removal), and this can confuse, especially new users. Staff MEB Posted January 11, 2021 Staff Posted January 11, 2021 Hi Bruno Henrique, Thanks for you report. "Remoção de distorção" is indeed incorrect/confusing. Maybe "Remoção de neblina" or something along those lines. I'm logging this to be looked at. Bruno Henrique 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
Cellobita Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 Try "Remoção de névoa" instead - "fog" is translated as "neblina" in Portuguese, "haze" is more accurately translated as "névoa" MEB and Bruno Henrique 1 1 Quote

I ended up also noting that the "denoise" came with the wrong translation, it would be something more like "Remoção de ruído" and not "Clareza". Just like the "denoise FFT", which could be "Remoção de ruído FFT". Quote
Staff MEB Posted February 18, 2021 Staff Posted February 18, 2021 Hi @Bruno Henrique, @Cellobita, Thank you for your feedback. Seems we will be using "Desembaça" for the Filters > Haze Removal translation. Not sure if it's a widely accepted term in Brasil for this or if Remoção de Névoa is a better option? I'm logging Denoise's translation issue. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
