SkandiCat
I am just learning affinity photo on the iPad and thought I would start at the basics. So as I am working through an Affinity tutorial it tells me I can select absolute dimensions on the crop tool. I have resample not absolute dimensions. Sometimes I get units underneath which gives me the option to select pixels, inches, cm, etc and other times I don’t. I am following the exact same process. Is absolute dimensions now called resample. Why do I sometimes get units and other times do not? Then when I want to straighten the horizon it won’t select the straighten button. Nothing happens. I have tried this on a brand new iPad and a one year old one. What is going wrong?
DM1
Have you read the explanation in the Help file? Resample is option that allows setting absolute dimensions. To straighten, tap straighten icon in secondary Context menu then draw a straight line across the image where you want to set the straight line. There looks to be a bug in the ui as the context menu for Resample doesn’t work unless you tap the arrow head next to the word. Scrolling the list doesn’t do it. I’ll put in a bug report to mods. 🙂 Paul Mudditt 1 Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen).
