iconoclast
Hi, I'm new to Affinity and I'm still exploring the opportunities of the Publisher in this special case. A verry nice piece of software. Well-invested money, I think. I really like it. And it is almost intuitive for a former InDesign- and Quark XPress-User like me. But there is one thing I couldn't find out yet: Is it possible to fill a text - for example a headline or a logo - with an image? As far as I can see, it only works with single letters, if you first convert them to pathes and then to imageframes. To group the letters doesn't make a single imageframe outoff it, as far as I see. Is there any other solution?
GarryP
Welcome to the forums @iconoclast There are a number of ways to do this but the easiest is to nest the image layer inside an Artistic Text layer, see attached video. 2021-01-03 12-20-29.mp4 Klara
