Holger Ullmann
Hello, how do I get these blue boxes away? Am I to blame or is it a bug?
Staff MEB Posted December 10, 2020 Staff Share Posted December 10, 2020 Hi @Holger Ullmann, Welcome to Affinity Forums Looks like a background colour applied to the text but there's some weird things going on. What Affinity Application are you using? Do you mind attaching the file shown in your screenshot above please? Holger Ullmann
Thanks for the answer. The problem occurs in Affinity Photo. Yes this is strange because the problem does not appear in other files. So I suspect that I have not yet understood the program. And so the question: does Affinity Photo have this "text background" function?
Staff MEB Posted December 10, 2020 Staff Share Posted December 10, 2020 Hi Holger Ullman, Go to menu the Character Panel (View > Studio > Character) and look for the two color wells on the top (the first on the left is the Font Colour, the one on the right the Background Colour (see screenshot for reference). Holger Ullmann
Dear MEB, thanks for this tip. But I have a slightly different problem. It's not about text markings, but the entire text box is colored. In addition, this change occurred spontaneously, without my intervention. Staff MEB Posted December 11, 2020 Staff Share Posted December 11, 2020 Are you working with Affinity Publisher or was the file edited at some point in Publisher? If so to the Text Frame panel in Publisher (menu View > Studio > Text Frame) and look for the Fill colour well in the General section. Set it to None to remove the Fill from the text frame. Holger Ullmann
302 / 5000 Übersetzungsergebnisse Thanks for the answer. No, I wasn't working in the publisher at the moment. No matter. Still, I have to say that these three programs have an incredible range of functions when measured against the retail price. I look forward to further updates and wish the programmers and the company every success!
