I've been a long time AP user — using now the latest v. 1.8.6 release successfully
since day one — and I am experiencing  issues since yesterday:

  1. AP launches but won't load my interface / workspace
  2. AP crashes opening files… any files

My reflex was to restore from TimeMachine first its Application Support folder
— that didn't help! — then I restored the app itself — didn't help either!

Any idea or suggestions?

Hi Nikon Shooter,

Please could you try opening the app with the CTRL key held down and hit select all and then clear on the menu that appears to see if this fixes your issues? If not please could you provide a copy of the crash log?

I do see that menu as you suggest, Callum, but I will lose then
all the work of fine tuning I did on my workspace, not?

It want to send report to Apple — which I did — but I can copy it
nor save it. :(

You will unfortunately, if you haven't already could you try pressing tab with a new document open to see if this makes your work space come back or go to View > Studio and check that everything is enabled as it should be?
