Angelika
Hi. Can anyone please tell me why my blue dress that looks great in other programs, but does not come out even close to the color when I place it in a PDF template in Affinity Photo? Also, does anyone know how I can export this template to keep the colors the same? I am using it as a book cover design. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Angelika
Hi: I am using a Mac Catalina OS. I edited the image in LR and placed it in Affinity. I'm not sure what the ICC profile is in Affinity. I'm not sure how to attach a screen shot. But my monitor has been calibrated with SpyderXPro if that helps. The blue looks great in other programs, including Mac's photo, except Affinity. And do you know what color profile I should export this for a later print to ensure the colors are true? Thank you so much for your help.
Pšenda
41 minutes ago, Angelika said: The blue looks great in other programs A common problem is that Affinity correctly uses the ICC monitor profile to display photos/graphics, while "other" applications do not (they only use OS services). Then it often happens that the display in Affinity (on its canvas) and in other applications does not match. Small guide - is the display in the Navigator according to your ideas? Try to look at the attached links, they may help you. https://affinityspotlight.com/article/display-colour-management-in-the-affinity-apps/ Quote Affinity Store (MSI/EXE): Affinity Suite (ADe, APh, APu) 2.4.0.2301 Dell OptiPlex 7060, i5-8500 3.00 GHz, 16 GB, Intel UHD Graphics 630, Dell P2417H 1920 x 1080, Windows 11 Pro, Version 23H2, Build 22631.3155.
