william klein
How can I convert portrait shot into landscape in Affinity? Below is a video of a similar operation in PS elements. Thanks in advance https://youtu.be/nZwc-QBkOfg?t=1096
Staff MEB Posted September 5, 2015 Staff Share Posted September 5, 2015 Hi william klein, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Go to menu Document ▸ Resize Canvas..., make sure the padlock icon in the dialog is open (we only want to change the witdh of the image - a closed padlock will link both fields width and height so when you change one the other will update the value proportionately), then enter a new dimension for the width. The Anchor section below lets you specify the direction to where the image will grow. So if you select the center point it will expand equally for all sides but since you are only changing the width, the image will expand for both left and right sides (top and bottom will stay as they are). Click Resize and you should now have the more space on both sides. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
