Publisher is messing with my folders in iCloud and changing default opening options

Recommended Posts

The subject says it all.

Firstly.

Double clicking on an .afpub file now causes it to open in Publisher Beta - after a warning about it being a non-beta file. Which I know.

I did not change that setting. Publisher Beta did.

Again - or still - my Affinity Publisher folder on iCloud is now disappeared again, and in its place a folder named Affinity Publisher Folder. In any case, "Affinity Publisher" is no more. So to recover my files I"ve copied "Affinity Publisher Folder" to "Affinity Publisher"

Now, trying to save a file in 1.8 showed this.

It now thinks there's a Affinity Publisher Beta folder. Which there's not.

back to the drawing board huh. 🙂

Hi. As previously, I removed all betas from the Mac, and set everything back to how it should be. So, not using betas on the Mac any more.

thanks

robert
