Bug? AfPublisher resource manager not updating AfDesigner spreads

Recommended Posts

I've got a AfDesigner file with about 70 spreads and have imported that file in a AfPublisher master page.
I then select "Edit detached" per page to change the spread page number of the imported AfDesigner file.

Then, when I make some changes in the AfDesigner file and update the file with the Resource Manager in AfPublisher it updates the master page but leaves the other pages untouched?

In a way I understand this behaviour but there's no way to update the AfDesigner spreads in the rest of the pages, they do not show up in the Resource Manager.

Am I missing something?

The "Edit Detached" is probably what's getting you, as it's breaking the connection between the Master Page and the document page for the item you edited.

It might be better to:

  1. Place the .afdesign file onto a document (not Master) page.
  2. Duplicate the document page as many times as needed.
  3. Change the spread number on each document page.
