JJI
I can't edit mask in Refine command in attachment picture. -Klik mask -Do Refine Mask -Red color is one second (like mask), but then example left branch go red (and many more places) -Paint this left branch mask foreground brush (red color remove) -Choose output: Mask and Apply -Klik Mask -Do Refine Mask again -Red color is one second (like mask), but then the left branch go red again (the mask discolors again incorrectly) Test-Refine.afphoto
Staff MEB Posted October 22, 2020 Staff Share Posted October 22, 2020 Hi JJI, This is caused by the Matte Edges option (on top) matting the mask edges. I will check with the dev team if it's supposed to work like so. Since they are not very defined and are thin it causes more issues than help. Try to turn the Matte Edges option OFF, paint with the Background and Foreground brushes to set the background and foreground areas as you have been doing then when you want/need to correct the edges/boundaries of the three silhouette use the Matte brush with a small size to matte/analyse those specific areas. It should correct the mismatches on these areas specifically. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
JJI
Thank you. This will help, but then we will lose that mask coloring automation.
