Lakeheart Guesthouse Posted October 21, 2020 Posted October 21, 2020 I am asking this question in Reallusion's support for Cartoon Animator 4 but while waiting for them to answer I'm asking it here, too. Cartoon Animator 4 Pipeline will export a character as a PSD file into Affinity Photo but Photo does not save it as a Photoshop PSD file, since the native format is .afphoto. For that reason, or perhaps for some other reason, edits made in Photo are not sent back to CA4 the way they are sent back automatically by Photoshop. How can I get this 2-way communication working?
Staff stokerg Posted October 22, 2020 Staff Posted October 22, 2020 Hi @Lakeheart Guesthouse, If you go into Preferences for Affinity, on the General section there is an option to 'Enable Save, over imported PSDs' if you can enable that, next time you use Save, it will save it as a PSD file.
