Valentín Benavente Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 Hello; I'm a little stuck with something appearing obvious. If I draw a rectangle using the drawing tool (don't know its name in english: it's the fourth from the top), I can afterwards select the node tool (second from the top) in order to create new nodes and re-shape it. But if I draw the same rectangle with the rectancle tool (seventh from the bottom), if I try to create a new node in it using the node tool, nothing happens... let's say, I'm unable to transform the rectangle in anything else. ¿Am I doing something wrong? Please, accept my appologies for this kind of newbie question. Val Quote
Signguy Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 When you created your rectangle, it is considered a shape. You need to convert the shape into a curve in order for the node points to be editable. This is true with all shapes. Make sure that your object (shape) is selected and click on the "convert to curves" button near the tool bar. Have fun! justwilliam 1 Quote
