Marc Niwashii
Hi there I would love if you support formats for the Panasonic Lumix S5 , altough it is identical to the S1 it would be great if you can add this camera. Thanks Edited October 10, 2020 by Marc Niwashii
Laurence Balter
Someone on REDDIT said it can but I don't see it on the list and I am hesitant to purchase this until it does
ashf
Affinity uses LibRaw, RAW decoder. Only S1 series is supported.https://www.libraw.org/supported-cameras Did you requested S5 support to LibRaw as well?
ashf
It seems that new version (202101) supports S5. Wait to Serif updates LibRaw in Affinity.https://www.libraw.org/supported-cameras-libraw-202101
ashf
You can open S5 RAW by converting it into DNG with DNG converter.https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/adobe-dng-converter.html
Bruggelink
If you know how to work with command-line instructions... Its easy with exiftool (by Phil Harvey) you can download it for free. on the command line in the directory: to change the model number one File: exiftool -Model=DC-S1 Filename.RW2 for all files in that dir: exiftool -Model=DC-S1 *.RW2 By changing the model number to DC-S1, you get a correctly exposed picture in Affinity, but the kit-lens is not recognised, so I hope that Serif will soon have full support for the Panasonic S5, which is becoming a very popular camera.
