Jason Gibbins Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 I need a little help understanding the personas in Publisher, please. Do I need to own both Designer and Photo to have these active? (I do own both) Is there any point in installing/using Designer or Photo, or can all the work be now done inside Publisher? (in other words, are full versions of Designer and Photo, inside Publisher) Thanks, in advance. Quote
Alfred Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 The StudioLink feature in Publisher allows you to access the main Designer and Photo personas from within Publisher, but only if you have the other apps installed. GarryP Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 To add a little to what Alfred said above, you can only use the Designer Persona in Publisher if you own Designer. The same goes for Photo, but you need Photo installed. These Personas in Publisher (Studiolink) do not give you access to all of the functionality of the other applications. For example, the Photo Persona of Publisher doesn’t give you access to the Liquify Persona of Photo, etc. You can use menu “File → Exit in <xxx>” to switch applications to access the other Personas of the other applications. Then you can use menu “File → Edit in Publisher” to go back to Publisher. I hope this helps. Quote
