gr8rck
Hi, My affinity designer export settings aren't exporting optimized images in png or jpg for the web. Using compression tools, I'm finding that my exported files at 72 dpi are still almost 75% too large even when flattened. What setting am I missing to make sure the images are optimized properly without running my images through additional tools? Gr8rck
GarryP
Have you tried using some ‘compression-friendly’ techniques such as those show here?: https://affinity.serif.com/en-gb/tutorials/photo/desktop/video/333760172/ If these don’t help then if you can give us an example image – full size original, not an exported version – people can help you to come up with some settings values and/or other techniques. It might also be useful if you tell us what you will be using the exported image(s) for and what you consider to be “too large” (as different people will have different ideas about this).
