D.E. Main
G'Day, Excellent program BTW. I've hit a bump in trying to replicate creating custom SHAPE Presets in Affinity Designer (v1.8.5) in Windows 10. I've created a shape using the shape toolbar tool and modified the shape - e.g., rounding corners. After creating a new Preset Category, I go back to the shape settings COG, and click on the upper right menu. While the Manage Category "Manage Presets" option is still available, the "Create Presets" is not available (i.e., is greyed out). I've made sure the shape is still selected. I've followed along with the Affinity Designer video tutorial - but no luck. Am I missing something? Thanks for any help. Dennis
walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. It works differently for me (also Win 10, Designer 1.8.5): I have a new shape I created. I click the Cog in the Context Toolbar, then the preferences/settings (aka "hamburger") icon, and Manage Presets. I create a new category, and close the Manage Presets dialog. I click the preferences/settings icon again, and Create Preset is still active, and usable.
