Please add a vector erase tool.

The entire reason why I got Affinity is so that I wouldn't have to deal with the pains of bitmap. But that's all ruined because there's only an eraser for bitmap.
I need to erase stuff.
A lot.
I can't just use the knife tool, because I can never get it to be precise enough. And I can't use the bitmap eraser because I'm trying to make easy-to-fill vector bases, instead of painful bitmap bases.
So please, please add a vector erase tool.
You've already gotten questions about it being there.

This is majorly needed? All pixel does is put a mask over the pen tool or shape??? PLEASE ADD THIS ASAP- why is it so hard? Can we at least get a answer from Affinity on the issue behind not having this? I use tis all the time to erase lines and points. Designer should be strongest in vector tasks...

blob brush + vector eraser would be very helpful when drawing in vector.

I whole heartedly agree with the request for a practical vector erase tool.  I’ve been a technical illustrator for over 35 years and would love to call Affinity Designer my choice to replace Adobe Illustrator for good.  Though, just can’t make the swap without a productive vector eraser tool.
