Affinity Apps website store purchases and App Store purchase

I  just noticed that my Affinity Publisher installation is not detected on App Store. Though it is installed, it displays the price to purchase and download the app.

Also on my Affinity account on the website, I only see my purchase of Affinity publisher but not my Affinity Designer and Photo purchase.

How can I find my designer and photo apps purchase and licensing details? What should be done in order for the app store to detect the pexisting publisher installation?

You see your purchase of Affinity Publisher on your Affinity account because you purchased it through the Affinity Store. Serif and Apple don’t share individual customer data, which is why you don’t see anything about it in the Mac App Store (MAS). Likewise, you will only see your Designer and Photo purchases in the MAS.

The MAS cannot (and doesn’t need to) detect your separate Publisher purchase, and the Affinity Store cannot (and doesn’t need to) detect purchases which are tied to your Apple ID. StudioLink will work regardless of where the individual apps were purchased, as long as they’re all up to date.

Can I just confirm that it makes no difference where you buy Mac Affinity products from (MAS or direct from Affinity Store) as far as working together goes?

I've previously purchased Photo and Designer from the MAS, now I want to buy Publisher, but I'd much prefer to buy direct from the developer rather than via the MAS - simply to support the developer a bit more so they don't loose the Apple cut.
