Bug when previewing layer mask in Photo-persona of Publisher

In Publisher on Windows ALT+clicking a layer mask while in the Photo-persona, the layer mask is displayed in the wrong position. The part of the screen where the mask should be displayed is completely black (no matter how the mask is looking). In stead the mask is displayed in the wrong position and ALWAYS on the first spread no matter which page you are on. If having placed the image on the first page (right side of the 1st spread), the mask is displayed in the left side of the spread (that is "empty" as the first page is on the right). If placing the image on page 2 (left side of the 2nd spread) the mask is also displayed in the left side of the 1st spread (it should have been in the left side of the 2nd spread). If placing the image on page 3 (right side of the 2nd spread) the mask is displayed in the right side of the 1st spread (it should have been in the right side of the 2nd spread). Proceeding placing the image on any of the following pages, the mask is still displayed on either the left- or the right-side of the 1st spread.

Rasterizing the Image into Pixel have no effect (same bug). Placing the Image inside a Picture frame have no effect (same bug). Embedding the image into the document have no effect (same bug). Creating a new document without "Facing pages" have no effect, except naturally there are no longer any left/right spread, but the mask is always displayed on the 1st page (so it will work for the 1st page only). The issue have been observed on two different Windows computers (a notebook, with 2 external monitors, and a workstation with a single 43" 4K monitor).

While investigating the nature of this bug, I noticed another strange (unrelated) thing. Looking at the History, when I place the image it is (misleading) listed as "Set text stylesheet"? I had expected to see the history-item as "Place image", "Place file" or something similar?
