Affinity stopped opening files.

 

Sirs/Madams,

All of the sudden, Affinity will no longer open image files. When I try to open a file, the dialogue box tries to open, then the program exits itself. Until now, there were instances where the program would suddenly exit itself unexpectedly, but it was rare. Now it does so every time I try to open a file. If I use File Explorer, navigate to a file and "open with" Affinity, it WILL open, but then I cannot export the file and sometimes can't even save the file as an Affinity file. What is causing this, and how do I correct it?

Can you check this FAQ article to see if you have of the listed apps installed on your system as they are known to cause issues. Also check to see if you have the latest graphics drivers installed.
