Text wrap on image flowing within text

I'm trying to control the text wrap on an image that is flowing within the text. (The text was imported from .docx format, which included the image.)

Yet none of the space after paragraph settings nor text wrap settings are having any effect.

What am I missing?

The Image/picture is inline in the text. Use the edit menu to Cut it out of the text and then paste it onto the page. Now you can set the Text Wrap.

Thank you. Is there a way for it to stay inline with the text? That's the most logical way to work with an image, given that the image is inline with the text that refers to it.

Pinning the image to the relevant text will work to a degree. Eventually you wind up with the text and image no longer being able to be in the same frame if text is added or removed before the relevant text (Pinning location).
