Datum Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 Good day, I am looking for some guidance on how to convert a jpeg to a vector. I attached an image titled "Image to Convert" that is the one I would like to covert to the vectored file. I have also attached an image titled "Desired Result" which is what I would like to achieve as an end result. Any help or guidance in how to achieve this would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance. Quote
Blende21 Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 The desired result is IMHO no vector image. The initial image was converted to b&w, all greys eliminated, then set to negative, probably masked to get rid of the sky and pasted over a blue plane. Or the black of the negative was converted into Blue. But it is still a pixel image. Quote
Mark Oehlschlager Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 @Datum If you're on a Mac, there is an inexpensive little utility app that will convert bitmap images to 1- and 2-color vector files. It's called "Image Vectorizer". Look for it in the Mac App Store. Quote
