Bugeye
I'm sorry I don't have that much information, I'm very new to the program. I am currently using a trial version of Affinity Designer, v1.8.5.703 and I really want to purchase it, but I hesitate because it keeps crashing my computer. The first few times, I thought it was random windows 10 stuff - I was given a failed stop code system_service_exception, it's a relatively new laptop and it had never crashed before, so that was worrisome, but now that it has crashed about 4 times in a week, I realized that every time, I have been using Affinity Designer. This last time, I was just trying to move some text on a page and I get a blue screen. I do not get a crash report, because the crash also resets my trial, so when I next launch Affinity Designer, it's like I was never there before. Mark Ingram
@Bugeye, a failed stop code (BSOD) indicates a problem with a driver (the Affinity software itself cannot cause a BSOD as it runs in user-mode). Unfortunately I can't tell you which driver is causing the problem, but try uninstalling and reinstalling the latest graphics drivers as a start.
