I have followed the tutorials, followed all the instructions I’ve found but nothing! I highlight the needed layer, I push the three dots, I get a menu..., But nothing allows me to rename The layer! I don’t get a keyboard to type on! None of the menus help. has anyone had this problem? I’m on a ipad pro, newer software as I just re downloaded it. The same problem on affinity photo too. Once you know it's there though, it's totally logical and quite clean. 1) Touch the 3 dots in the outline circle at the top of the Layers Studio... (Not the three dots in a dark circle on the other side of the screen, just incase that's where you've been looking). The "Layers options" panel will reveal itself. At the top of this panel, immediately underneath where the pin and the back button (titled "< Layer Options") are, and above where it says "Opacity" ... ... It will say something like "Layer".. (it might say something else). 2) Touch the word "Layer" (or whatever it says) and the keyboard will pop-up so you can change it... Hope I've been clear.
