ErgoCanis
In the current Version (1.8.4) I've encountered a problem with the frame text tool. After drawing an Text Area with the tool I can only draw a new one next to it on the right/bottom side. On the left and top side I can only click on the frame to add text. I made a picture and a video to visualize it: Without typing a word into the box I can create in the green area a new frame text. The red one captures my mouse to type text thus I ca'nt create a new text frame. Workaround: After creating a frame text and typing a letter I can create the other ones normally. Staff Chris B Posted August 5, 2020 Staff Share Posted August 5, 2020 Hello ErgoCanis, welcome to the Affinity Forums I think this is because your Decorations in the Character Panel are set to 30pt. Thanks for your reply. You're right. After removing the Decorations completely it's fixed. But is this the intented behaviour? And before the Update I had no issue with it.
