Hello,

in a DIN A4 broschure of approx. 40-50 pages there is a requirement to have 10 pages on the left side to be in DIN A3. Those pages will be folded to fit DIN A4 and opened as required while reading. How do I specify the page sizes and how do I specify it for the printing, as the printed page would have a DIN A3 plus DIN A4 format? Is it correct to configure those DIN A3 pages with a separate master page and to reduce page size from 420 mm to perhaps 410 or so??

Thank you for giving me some help.

Regards
Alexander

In Publisher you can change the size of the pages of an existing document, open Spread Setup and select the spreads to be changed and then the page preset. However if this is something you are going to export for professional print I would confirm with the printer the file requirements, especially for the "extended pages". As they may want them as a separate file for them to combine in their printing software app.

Hi Lee D,

thank you for your reply. I know how to change page sizes and indeed I have been in touch with my print office, who gave me instructions as to how to handle such requirement. They require a "cutcontur", a line of max. 0,25 pt at the place where the larger pages shall be folded. No more requirements for two files or so. I hope, that will work for me then Lateran.

Thanks again and best regards

Alexander
