JurgenB Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 I've been working on a document and now I am unable to save or export it. Whenever I select Save, Save As, Export, or Export as Template, as soon as the native save dialog should show it fails silently. My only option is to discard my work for today. After restarting I do get the native save dialog. Notes: I do run Affinity Designer in full screen mode often, and often close the lid of my laptop between work before saving.
Staff Sean P Posted June 9, 2020 Staff Posted June 9, 2020 Hi JurgenB, Do you switch to an external monitor or dock midway through use at all? I've tried reproducing but the Save dialog pops up in the centre of the Mac Book screen every time (using full screen). When it fails to appear are you able to hit Enter to save it to an 'Untitled' folder in your documents folder (you may want to be sure there isn't an untitled one already there)? It sounds as though the dialog is out of screen area and effectively appearing on what should be a different screen.
JurgenB Posted June 16, 2020 Author Posted June 16, 2020 Sorry for the late reply. I'm not using a secondary screen. I haven't used used any Affinity program since, but I will try this next time.
