poleninjaphotography
I'm new to anything photoshop/affinity/photo editing, so I'm pretty sure it's an obvious thing that I'm just not figuring out. Basically, in my image, any time I try to use any brush--from a basic brush to a clone stamp to a dodge or burn, instead of working like it did when I started working on the image, it leaves behind a strange color (yellow) in this case. So, imagine a clone stamp, cloning, but with a crazy color to it instead of being an accurate copy. Does anyone know why this is happening to me? Staff MEB Posted August 1, 2015 Staff Share Posted August 1, 2015 Hi poleninjaphotography, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) You may have some setting/adjustement/blend mode etc affecting the brush output. Without seeing the file it's difficult to guess what it may be. Can you post it here, so we can take a look? poleninjaphotography
Definitely. Sorry. It took some time to figure out how to mac shortcut key screenshot with affinity's conflicting shortcuts, and then how to add files and pictures to this forum...I'm not really one who uses forums too much. ...well, turns out I can't figure it out. No idea how to add attachments to this forum. But this is the clone stamp tool, and when I hover to get a preview of how the stamp will work, you can see what's happening.http://www.poleninjaphotography.com/Privaterandom/n-m5cRjZ/i-6bCK7Lc/A
poleninjaphotography
Well, I did finally figure it out. Somehow I'd selected only the blue channel to be editable. Anyway, just in case anyone else runs into this, I thought I'd share. Again, I'm a newb, so it really does help.I also did figure out how to attach files. So if anyone is interested, here's the image I was asking questions about!
