Marc van der Holst Posted May 24, 2020 Posted May 24, 2020 Hi, soooo Dutch hyphenation used to work (I had put the hyph_nl_NL.dic file in Affinity's dictionairies, set Character > Language to 'Nederlands' (Dutch), Paragraph > Hyphenation > Auto, if I recall completely correctly; but now I open a Publisher doc from a while back and the hyphens are gone … Anybody any idea what happened/what to do? Dank in advance! Murc Quote
walt.farrell Posted May 24, 2020 Posted May 24, 2020 Does it work with a new document that you create? Have you verified that the hyphenation dictionary is still i the proper location, and that the language and hyphenation settings are still correct? You might also try enabling Text > Show Special Characters, and then looking at the end of that line to make sure you don't have something like a Line-Break character there.
