New Solid Brush not rendering as designed

I've been trying to create a new solid brush (changes in opacity and size variance) but it does not render when I actually use the brush. I saw another topic with the same problem, but it was for IPad.

Would you be able to attach a copy of the brush you've created and also a video demonstrating the behaviour you're getting please?

Yes, here is the video below. The video doesn't record the pop up window of me editing the settings, but I did.

Unfortunately I will also need to see the brush - could you export and attach that please? 

Are you using a graphics tablet at all or are you using a mouse? If you're using a graphics tablet what device as you using? If you're using a mouse then the behaviour is what I would expect, as the mouse is always considered 100% Pressure.
