Publisher linked text boxes freeze

Hi,
I'm working on a Windows system with the latest 1.8.3 version of the Publisher. When I create linked text boxes and start to enter text, the document (not the program) feezes as soon the text (cursor) goes from the first to the next text box. There is no way to recover, only to close teh document.
Is this something known?

This is not a known issue.
