Converting curve to Artistic Text adds gradient to curve

When I convert a curve to Artistic Text, the curve's style changes to a gradient. The curve style cannot be changed.

This does NOT happen with newly created documents.

I have attached a file where the bug occurs.

Hi Dertyde94,

It looks like you may have inadvertently saved a default text style for a 'Text Path' object. This means that any newly created object of this type will honour those settings in the document.

You can fix this by selecting one of these objects and going Edit > Defaults > Factory Reset. However be aware this will set the point size back to the default of size of 12pt.
