Hello Support,

I have opened the same picture in Affinity Photo and Adobe Photoshop, zoomed at the same percentage and it shows significant image degradation on Affinity Photo, the only difference I can see is that in Photoshop the image is opened at 8bit colour and in Affinity at 16bit, am I doing anything wrong? Screenshot_2020-05-03_11-39-50-188.thumb.png.66bfb4d47e87af0216d8b295af7052a9.pngcan you please explain?

Thanks,

Adriano

This also seems to be an issue viewing the images at 50% and 100%, the loss of quality is too noticeable. In Preference > View Quality is set to Bilinear (Best Quality), Thanks in advance.

As you're looking at a RAW image you may find that Photoshop is automatically applying some sharpening, while Photo is not.
