Save in iCloud Drive

Hello friends!

 

I´ve a doubt about save illustrations in iPad. For example, I´ve saved my illustration and in Options, I´ve set that the storage location is iCloud Drive. So every time I click on my artwork on the iPad and hit Save, a copy of that save is stored in my iCloud Drive / Affinity Designer folder.

I want it to only have a single file, then:
-If I modify on the macbook, the same file will be saved.
-If I modify on the iPad the same file is updated.

The problem is that every time I press save (in Affinity iPad) it creates a new copy for me.

How can I have a single file and have it on my macbook and iPad (only single)?

Once you have saved the file outside of the app you must remove the sandbox copy on the affinity home screen by pressing close. Now re-open your file from iCloud and you will have a new options under documents —> save which saves over the iCloud version.

If you pick up that file on your desk top don’t forget to remove the sandbox copy while you work on it on your desktop or you will end up with two copies again as you are holding the file open in the app. Think of the Affinity home page like tabs in a browser. Don’t leave your finished work in the app.
