dannywoodjr Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 Currently the export dialog only allows resizing in pixel dimensions, it would be great if you could allow it to switch to inches/cm just like you can for the document ruler. When editing photos for print, it's helpful to keep an AP file for the main edit at full size with layers and then export .TIFFs (or JPEGS) in the different sizes needed as it does a better job of resizing than the print driver itself. As a side note (plug-in support for Canon Print Studio Pro would be excellent as well) Thank you! Quote

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, Danny. Technically, you can resize using inch or cm measurements. Just specify, for example, the width (or height) as "6in" or "6 in" or "8cm" or "8 cm". What the dialog doesn't allow, however, is displaying the size in those units. Photo will recalculate them as px measurements for you, by multiplying the value you specify by the DPI of the document. I would like to have the ability for it to display in a different unit. (Also, if you regularly need to use a common set of output sizes (since you mention, "in the different szes needed") you might want to look into setting up some export presets in the Export Persona. Then you could simply go into the Export Persona, apply the preset, and export several sizes with one operation.)
