Seems simple enough right?

I'm kinda of new to the software so apologies in advance.

Could anyone shed some light on this subject please?

I want to be able to divide a 16:9 screen in as many parts I want. I'll require around 80 parts. It'd be great to have black lines against a white solid background. And export that as an image. Jpeg would be fine.

Thank You so much for Your time and patience.

1. Create a new document, say 1600 pixels x 900 pixels.

2. Use pen tool in line mode draw vertical line at left edge of document, ensure snapping is turned on.

3. Duplicate the line and reposition it 200 pixels to the right eg using transform studio.

4. Duplicate again cmd/ctrl J which will trigger power duplicate, repeat cmd/ctrl J 8 times. to give vertical dividers.

5. Repeat using a line across top of document, duplicate and move down 90 pixels, then power duplicate to complete horizontal dividers.

Here is an example jpeg and afdesign file.
