A-Designer - Document Colour Space and Details

Recommended Posts

Hi

I usually work in RGB but have to change to CMYK for print - this has been changed in File, Documents Setup.

In Photoshop, it's possible to see the document name, colour space, bit depth and viewing colour space - is this possible in A-Designer?

When I changed from RGB to CMYK, nothing changed visually - it's possible to colours didn't change but I just want to be sure I am viewing the CMYK colours.

Thanks for your help,

N

File > Document Setup will show you the current color format:

If I understand you correctly, you changed a document from RGB to CMYK? If so, and if you used the default Convert option, then Designer would have remapped your colors from RGB into CMYK, trying to keep them as close to the originals as possible. If all your RGB colors could be represented in CMYK, you might not have noticed any changes on-screen.
