AndreasGe Posted March 27, 2020 Posted March 27, 2020 I am using Affinity Photo 1.8.2 and I am trying to paste from Fiji (https://fiji.sc) only on the red Chanel for some reason it does paste on all them, even though I have selected the red channel with the pen. It seems that there is no way around this. Could you please add this feature on the next upgrade! Additionally the developers team need to make copy and pasting greyscale channels much easier. Thanks
Old Bruce Posted March 27, 2020 Posted March 27, 2020 Working with channels is challenging in the Affinity suite. First you must make a Spare Channel in the Channels panel by selecting the channel and right clicking on it. Then you can use the right click on that spare channel and choose "Load to [Name of the layer selected in the layers panel] red". Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
