App doesn't work after update

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I updated my Affinity Photo to Version 1.8.2, but then it doesn't work anymore.
There is a code called: CLR 80004005.

I tried to restart my Laptop, tried to repair the installation, tried to install it again, tried to installed the old version, but it doesn't work...
Before the update everything was ok.

Maybe someone can help

Hey @Bluesstone

Can you tell us which version of Windows you are running and include the version number (press the Windows key on your keyboard and type winver and hit enter).

Did you install to the default path? What version did you have installed before updating to 1.8.2? Did you install over the top or do a clean install?

Can you also try installing the beta to see if this gives us the same error message:

Finally, make sure you don't have any software installed that is known to cause conflicts with us:
