Adam D'Agosto Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 Hi. I might just be missing it, but I'm looking for a quick way to evaluate my RAW files and pick and choose the ones I want to work with. I remember in Lr I could put "stars" on each photo, quickly look through them and then sort on all my 4 and 5 star photos, then I'd get to work on them. Does Affinity Photo have a way of doing this? Am I just missing this ability? It's pretty amazing software otherwise!! Quote
Dan C Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 Hi Adam D'Agosto Unfortunately Affinity Photo isn't a library-type application like Lightroom and it doesn't support browsing through a library of images to quickly edit/rate the images, my apologies. You can add a rating to any image/document you're editing, through View>Studio>Metadata, however this will simply write a rating into the metadata of the file and you cannot use this rating system within the Affinity app. We've had lots of interest for a library type application to replace Lightroom, however we don't have any confirmations for when we may be looking to produce such an app at this time, my sincerest apologies! I hope this helps Quote
Adam D'Agosto Posted March 14, 2020 Author Posted March 14, 2020 Well thank you for the reply. Glad I wasn't missing something under my nose. And maybe you can add my request for the same. But i can be patient! Thank you! Quote
