Violinman
Hello, I am working with portrait images which I want to custom crop 2X5. I have saved this size as a custom ratio preset but have noticed that with all of the custom ratio presets and resample presets the width size when applied is always to the full width of the document. Is there a way to change this to height rather than width, the problem is that with my 2X5 preset this takes the crop grid way above and below the image so involves a lot of scrolling vertically to grab the corners to reduce the grid to the size I require. Many thanks, Brian
walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, Brian. I think that's a known bug that hasn't been fixed yet in the released versions. It seems to work properly (from a very quick test) in 1.8.1.595 beta on Windows, which means it might also work in 1.8.2.172 beta on Mac, though it's not mentioned in the release notes for either of them. For a workaround, grab a side node and drag it toward the opposite edge. It's easier than finding a corner node Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
